About the event
This one-day clinic is open to the public, but ladies only please.
So what happens at this clinic? We get to know our bikes - all the important parts and how to make it a comfortable bike for you. We learn about the main body positions when biking down a trail- and why they make sense (time for a little physics!). We play some balance games to get a feel of our range of motion. Then we get into all the handlebar bits: brake and gearing. This is all translated on the trail as we head out for a fun ride at the end of the day.
This clinic is 3 hours long. All instructors are certified instructors via Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (Level 1). Groups numbers are determined via safety ratios, but will be no more than 1 instructor to 7 gals. Waivers and other forms must be completed…
