About the event
This one-day clinic is open to the public. If you are female or non-binary, know you are welcome.
During this clinic, we get to know our bikes - all the important parts and how to adjust your bike to fit your awesome body. We learn about the main body positions when biking down a trail- and why they make sense (time for a little physics!). We play some balance games to get a feel of our range of motion. Then we get into all the handlebar bits: brakes and gearing.
This clinic is 3.5 hours long. All instructors are certified mountain bike instructors via Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association or Bicycle Instructor Certification Program. Groups numbers are determined via safety ratios, but will be no more than 1 instructor to 7 participants. Waivers will be administered electronically prior to the event.
