About the event

Pick the time and the place and we will be there!  Your local trail where you want to work on a few tricky parts? A specific aspect of your riding that you'd like to improve? Based on what you specify, we match you with an instructor to make it happen!

Wanna learn with a few friends? Want to ride beside your kids, learning all together? Want some quality coach time to nail down a skill? We can do all of these. Our lessons are for ages 7+ and all genders.  Clients that have minors (under 18) must purchase a Family Lesson ticket and the coaches available will havbe the necessary certification (police check) to work with minors. A family is defined as 1-2 adults and 3-5 minors, with a maximum combination of 6 humans.

Our rates operate on a sliding scale, a one-on-one lesson being the most expensive, but you can bring up to 4 friends and split the cost. With each additional pal, the hourly rate increases. Minimum lesson is 2 hours long so that we can progress beyond foundational skills, which must be covered or reviewed if you have experience with instruction on your mountain bike. Our most popular option is a 2 hour lesson, regardless of group size. Two hours can cover 2 or 3 lessons for small skills, OR 2 large in depth skill specific lesson.  You can select the lesson that works best for you as a ticket.  Once you have made the purchase we will review your registration details, and email you with options for dates and coaches, as well as email any identified group members for their ability/riding details so we can best plan a lesson for all of you. If there is a large spread of ability levels, it is strongly recommended that you split into two groups (with an additional coach) to accomodate each participant. SheShreds will present this option to you, if needed, and has the right to refuse and refund your lesson if we are unable to come to a solution prior to your lesson.

You can indicate your preference for your coach and while we can promise you a rad lesson, but we cannot promise that your coach preference will be available on the date you would like your lesson. Coach profiles can be found on our website under "Coaches". Our coaches who are able to work with minors are limited, and therefore we will have more limited availabilities

Instructors bring teaching tools, features and may supply ramps/manual machines/roll down features with notice and the ability to transport the stunts ($30 flat fee for stunts, purchased with an additional ticket).

Waivers and other forms must be completed before we ride. The will be sent to your email (and the email provided for any other participants you indicate). No signed waivers = no lesson. A COVID-19 agreement and a physical acitvity assessment and a media release will also be provided to sign. Review these documents here and consult with a medical professional and/or lawyer, if needed.

Our COVID-19 modifications requre that all participants (including coaches) self-screen for symptoms prior to attending, wash their hands, disinfect their bikes. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant will be available.

Cancelation Policy: Lessons will be canceled 2 hours prior to the event if the weather is deemed unsafe or our actions will cause an unacceptable level of damage to the trails. The lesson will be cancelled at any point, if lightning is observed. A 50% refund will be offered in the case of a weather cancelation. Otherwise, 100% refund within 7 days of purchase, 50% refund 14 days before the planned lesson date, no refunds after 13 days prior to the planned lesson date.
